Saw IV

Tag: Its a trap

If I hadn't remembered wrongly, I watched part III early this year. And part IV's out. Saw the poster of Saw IV on my way to lunch today. Decided to do abit of search since it has triggered my yearness to watch... .

Didn't managed to see on the poster but the internet stated the showing date as 8th Nov 2007. Pretty much thought part III was the last since all the main characters are quite as dead. Very dead in fact. Jigsaw died of throat slit shortly after he shot apprentice Amanda to death. No traces of survivors either.

Not gonna pin too much hope on the plot. Watching for the sake of gore and mayhem.

Lady's Review for the previous episodes:

Part III was the most gruesome I thought. In fact, it grossed me more than the first time I watched Saw (Part I) few years back. A particular scene of drowning a victim with the liquified rotten pig (thrown into this equipment and "blended" to gore) made the remains of my cheese burger untouched. Darn shitty since it was the first time I got so gored by a movie. Timid, but never gored by a movie cuz' I'm "trained" thanks to the years of being a horror junkie. Dining while watching fear factor has never affected me the least bit. Saw III was the sole overthrown.

Part II. As far as I'm concern, was not up to standard based on the usual "culture" of the Saw series. Story featured few kids being trapped in a..I dunno, a mansion or something lidat? Boring episode anyway.

Part I was more of a bizzard rather than gross, in comparison to Part III's. The introduction of the psychopatic killer. But wasn't further narrated. Only showed 2 victims caught and trapped inside the toilet. Amanda was featured in this episode as the sole survivor that managed to escape from the malevolent trap.

Saw IV, anyone? Pleeeease~

I know, cam-whoring is infectious.

Looks like I'm the dark cloud amongst the clear blue sky...Bah.

Facebook is getting me hooked!

This thingy is getting alot more of my attention that I thought it will be... . Started off with being curious, more of a nuisance figuring out how the hell I should go about it to the random clicking and accepting of cute lil' applications yada yada YADA...

And now, I'm like totally ga-ga over the vampire/slayer/werewolf stuffs! Took me only ten minutes to go round insanely "biting" and "infecting" people in my friends list. (Then again, who says I'm sane, anyway? Heck.) Little did I know there's actually counts to the number of times you go round "fighting" with the monsters. Yet I was happily clicking my way thru'. Help~.

Every minute I'm shedding hair on who's the next in-line who'll take revenge and victimise me. Vicious. Don't bite me okaaaaaay~ *Back to Facebook*

Turn up the volume and watch this!

Indian song bufflaxed! Sounded really like they are singing to the lyrics.

This is hilarious lah!! *Falls off from chair*

Thanks huh Andy...

Pink pinks my day

If Monday is Blue, then Friday's definitely Pink!

Sweet 'o' Lydia got me this upon getting me the documents for to sign. Was late cuz' she queued for the donuts. Had to admit she's got good PR skills eh? Way to go girl!

Given my magnanimous character, I shared it with my colleagues. Not forgetting to bite a mouthful from each of their donuts! (I had to at least try all the flavours right... .) The not-a-big-fan-of-donut me got facinated how good it tastes. Its chewy! Unlike the usual ones. Soft and gooey. Hahs! Always hated the after taste.

The one coated in pink appeals to me most. So sweet looking! Definitely "A" for presentation. Taste wise, too sweet for a non sweet-tooth. The rest was nice. Especially the chocolate coated ones. Yummy!

The first piece at the second row looked like it turned mouldy. Fret not, it wasn't. But I can't figure what exactly the taste was. Anyone tried this before? Lemme' know the flavour ya?

See? Even the box was in hot pink. Matches well with my handphone pouch! Awwwww~

Hah, this, I force the ah boy in my office to make it for me. Literally had to threaten and remind him countless times for this. P is for pink, and also Pathetic me. *Wails* He's good eh? Seldom see guys so meticulous nowadays. And he's not a gay! (I presume so... . Is he?? NAH!!!!)

Addition to wardrobe~

Cheap cheap bags. Stylish yet friendly to our pocket...

The color's suppose to be dark brown and not black as seen here. Kinda the ideal sling bag for me after searching for so long. Spacious, stylish and all. Only if it could be bigger so I can shove my texts inside. All and all, its cheap! How much is it ah princess lobang...

Mum was totally infactuated with this (So am I...) when I was taking the picture. Carried it and model-posed infront of me with full of compliments on the design and yada yada yada. Muahahahaha. As if the bag was hers. She wished! And there I went, complaining to Jeanie that my mum's gonna run with her grab. *Laughs*

Princess Lobang's grab. At a horribly cheap price of $15? As usual, i've forgotten about the price. Memory tagged it as a very good grab that's why we got it.

When it gets boring

What happens when the lesson gets too dry...

You start drawing at the empty coffee cup with your color pen, thinking you're a great artist. You take out your integrated camera, press the shutter with a ever-so-nice sound of "click"... . Thinking this could be a master piece someday and you get to get rich with this piece of art.

Gets back to reality and realised in horrid that you are still in the midst of torment. So you begin snapping pictures of what's shown in the OHP, wondering which page is this slide referring to while your lecturer goes on and on and on...Poor lecturer.

Your mind remains bleached and continues snapping at the same slide. So, the bored takes pictures of nothing. BUT, the bored-er poses at the picture the bored is trying to snap. *LOL* That's how bored we were.

P.S: The hand's not mine, really. Its Annie's. *Waves at Annie*

EviLyn commenting on "Resident Evil: Extinction"

Milla Jovovich - you rock.

The affiliation started off with "The 5th Element" in 1997 which starred Bruce Willis and of course, Milla Jovovich.

Back then, I swore she looked familiar to me. But definitely not as a Hollywood celebrity. Flashbacks reminded me that she's originally a model. That's why! Seen her modelling couple of times and the treadmill advertisement she did with "TV media" back then... . Gorgeous girl, i thought. Which made me addicted to the latter once I set my eyes on "The 5th Element".

Am anything but a gaming fan. Uh-uh, no. WII, PS3, PSP, Nintendo or whatever you guys might call em', I've never seriously gamed much to my living daylight. But I've gotta' admit -- those game-conceptualise movies, they rock. Tomb raider, DOOM, Resident Evil...name it.

Storyline: What's supposed to be there are there. Apart from the zombies that scare the hell outta me right from the start, what differs the episode from the previous was the addition of zombie crows. Yeah, they are flesh-eaters, but only rotten ones. Imagine they were to attack the living..? Vicious.

Alice in this episode reminds me of Jean Gray of "X-men". All those gadgets and supernatural powers, she top my list of superheroines lah! The final showdown was good, too good that you find it a teenie weenie too short. And before you know it, the movie finished. Darn.

Ending's to my total liking. Lurvve it. Not gonna be a spoiler over here, so check it out yourself if you are curious. Muahaha.

Visuals: The usual. Those ought to be gross, are gross. Those ought to be cool, are cool. Guess i'm just too spoilt by the excellent visuals nowadays that I've only left with "Usual", "So-so" and "Totally horrible" to remark the visuals. So..."Usual" means good. Hahaha.

Acting: Since most of the cast are professional actors and actresses, pretty much nothing to remark their skills for acting. No traces of lame-ness or overreacting etc. Only that I reckon the script's intention wasn't to focus on their acting, but more on the overall effect of the movie.

Direction: Frankly, I would say the layout of the movie puts me to sleep if its not for the visuals and constantly emerging zombies... .Like the ending nevertheless.

Overall: Well, not for those who seeks for action. Go for the sake of adding another horror flick to your list of colllection or simply just to watch Milla.

She looks kinda old in this picture, didn't she?

Why is living a life so tiring?

Dismay or Just plain tired?

Didn't feel the least bit of energy today even though I slept at 11.30pm last night. I'm tired... . "Tired to my dealiest deathbed". Always lurved this phrase I constructed. So me. So jinXed.

For many times, I doubt, if I can really complete my diploma and hop straight to degree without resting. All this part-time studying is insane.

3 months of intensive lecturing + assignment, 2-3 lessons per week. Then, term ends and we've got like 2 weeks of rest -- to prepare for exams, that is. Hellish. New semester starts again couple of weeks later. Insane. Been like this for the past 12 months. Reckon totally i'm drained by now. Which explains the reason why i'm here, word-vomitting in dismay to appease myself.

So, the question is, am i able to cont'n? Yes to determination. But doubts whether I can endure it emotionally. Entire degree takes about 2 years, bro. Not ideal to rest either, there's no time to spare. Have gotta catch up with the rest of the academically strong before i'm left last for the run.

At times I really, really take my hats off for those who are juggling with both studies and their career. Some even has a third tier -- family and kids. Surprisingly, they are handling it pretty well other then being tired. They are the ones we should look up to. And they are very, very grown up, not as young like you and me. *Chuckles*
Am I really in dismay am I juz plain tired today?
I wonder.

New addition to wardrobe!

Skinny vs Super Skinny

Lurve these babes. Credits goes to Princess Lobang whom brought me to grab my first pair of skinny jeans (Right) at a dirt cheap price of $25. Bargained till $23, that is... . Hiaks.

Got my 2nd pair the week later. (Black one, left) Priced $20 cuz' its "skinny" and not "super skinny". Apparently the super skinnys are longer and costs a lil' more.

In comparison to the above two ladies, i still prefer the super skinny one. Awww~ such good looking cuts!

Killer Heels aka Jinx's fave

Got them just now! The gold one was so-telling me "you are so gonna regret not getting me, you know?!" So.. *Ahem* Tell me I did a good job, pretty please~? The black one was actually a "stock replenish". Had my first pair about a year ago and it died on me eventually. *Sobs*

But these babies are really tough and rough. Great investment. Trust me. It might look pricey. Well, it is... . And they bite in the beginning, but, they'll just end up irresistably comfortable when you wear em' for the 3rd time or so.

And I thought mum's gonna kill me upon hearing me grab another 2 pairs of shoes. You'll know why if you read on...

Viola! Family potrait! It always appears to women that they don't have enough sh..heels, i mean. And the fact that they only wear only couple pair of their majestic collection. Mine's only a humble amount, ain't it? 1,2,3,4.....14! Actually, there are a few more pairs inside the cupboard, I think. *LOL*

Call me Agent J..inXed!

My much awaited album after her "Dancing Diva". However, the quality of composition wasn't up to standard this time round.

It occurs to me that she had lost her focus and towards her ultimate goal - singing. The initial gymnasium stunts got us real facinated. However, the subsequent pole dance and all those acrobatic stunts + standard of songs made me ponder if she had turn her focus to something else's. Yeah, yeah, her singing skills are still there, voice's still good. Constant challenges she conquered awed me the same nevertheless. BUT, it still feels like something is amiss... .

  • Her theme: Despite all the accusations of mimic-ing some fantasy game made movie, I was still delighted by her determination in coming up with new ideas to surprise her fans. With all those nose-bleed tight fittings, boobs exposing leather attire, her evolution definitely marks a word success.

  • Her movie mv: For those who had watched her taiwan drama "Hi! Office Lady.", it doesn't take much effort to see her maturity in her acting skills. From her unpolished emotions to the Agent J she played, she'd clearly progressed from the preliminary.
  • Her dance tracks: From her well-known "72 transformation" to her latest many, I think there is a great deteriorate. *Sad* Some of which literally sounded like it is catered to taiwan ah-bengs! Not to mention about the choreography. OMG~ . Maybe its my adaptability. Always happens when i listen to her new songs.
  • Her ballads: Oh well, relieving enough to keep me glued to her entire album(tgt w those many I dislike =_=), tracks like "Pa She Me" and "Yi Ge Ren" still portrays her capabilities of enticing many of us out there.
