EviLyn commenting on "Resident Evil: Extinction"

Milla Jovovich - you rock.

The affiliation started off with "The 5th Element" in 1997 which starred Bruce Willis and of course, Milla Jovovich.

Back then, I swore she looked familiar to me. But definitely not as a Hollywood celebrity. Flashbacks reminded me that she's originally a model. That's why! Seen her modelling couple of times and the treadmill advertisement she did with "TV media" back then... . Gorgeous girl, i thought. Which made me addicted to the latter once I set my eyes on "The 5th Element".

Am anything but a gaming fan. Uh-uh, no. WII, PS3, PSP, Nintendo or whatever you guys might call em', I've never seriously gamed much to my living daylight. But I've gotta' admit -- those game-conceptualise movies, they rock. Tomb raider, DOOM, Resident Evil...name it.

Storyline: What's supposed to be there are there. Apart from the zombies that scare the hell outta me right from the start, what differs the episode from the previous was the addition of zombie crows. Yeah, they are flesh-eaters, but only rotten ones. Imagine they were to attack the living..? Vicious.

Alice in this episode reminds me of Jean Gray of "X-men". All those gadgets and supernatural powers, she top my list of superheroines lah! The final showdown was good, too good that you find it a teenie weenie too short. And before you know it, the movie finished. Darn.

Ending's to my total liking. Lurvve it. Not gonna be a spoiler over here, so check it out yourself if you are curious. Muahaha.

Visuals: The usual. Those ought to be gross, are gross. Those ought to be cool, are cool. Guess i'm just too spoilt by the excellent visuals nowadays that I've only left with "Usual", "So-so" and "Totally horrible" to remark the visuals. So..."Usual" means good. Hahaha.

Acting: Since most of the cast are professional actors and actresses, pretty much nothing to remark their skills for acting. No traces of lame-ness or overreacting etc. Only that I reckon the script's intention wasn't to focus on their acting, but more on the overall effect of the movie.

Direction: Frankly, I would say the layout of the movie puts me to sleep if its not for the visuals and constantly emerging zombies... .Like the ending nevertheless.

Overall: Well, not for those who seeks for action. Go for the sake of adding another horror flick to your list of colllection or simply just to watch Milla.

She looks kinda old in this picture, didn't she?
